We are the Belgian Glaucoma Society
Who are we?
The BGS is the national organization of Belgian ophthalmologists, with a specific interest in glaucoma. It currently has 226 members, i.e. 147 Dutch-speaking and 79 French-speaking ophthalmologists.
The BGS was founded in 1991 and is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that aims to inform the public and professionals on all aspects of glaucoma.
Elections
Elections for the EGS Board are organized every 3 years. Next elections will take place in 2026.
